Curated by New Citizens and the ever-popular Leeds Indie Food festival, Chow Down will be bringing the very best of independent street food, craft beer, cocktails and music to Lincoln for two weekends of foodie fun - as the UK’s biggest food festival descends on the city’s historic Castle over Easter and the end of June.

In addition, Chow Down will also return to Halifax’s picturesque The Piece Hall this summer - dates to be confirmed.

Expect something to suit all tastebuds, diets and budgets - from the very best independent street food traders in the North and the Midlands.

Each weekend, we’ll have a different selection of handpicked street food traders, who will be bringing cuisines from all over the UK and the rest of the world. Once again, we’ll be committing to our target of 25% of the offering being either vegetarian or vegan.

Make sure you follow us on Facebook or Instagram to see the food line ups when we release them.

We’re bringing many of our favourite craft beer breweries to Lincoln and Halifax this Spring and Summer, so you can sample some of the finest beers the country has to offer - whether it be draught or in cans.

And if beer’s not your thing, fear not - as we’ll be bringing our cocktail truck, which will be serving all varieties of cocktail - perfect for those hot summers days.

A variety of spirits and soft drinks will also be present at Chow Down 2019. Again, make sure you’re following us on Facebook and Instagram to see all announcements first!
